This song is about my life in the Sierra Mountains of California. Although there have been many wonderful changes in my life I can still find a place in my heart for what was. And through it all the sun still shines brightly.

Looking out my window thoughts lost within the blue
Something's always nothing there's nothing I can do
Nights are always spent thoughts just thinking more
Though life gives compliments there's more I'm yearning for

I'm careful with the tongue soft with words I choose
I'm counting down the hour's accruing attitude
With time passing by I lack knowledge as a source
All these thoughts I have within are running their course

The mountain sky's dark but the starlight is gracious

As a child I crawled with shadow burned eyes
As time passes by I walk through driving rain
I'll catch my breath soon through moderate change

Things fade out they don't always reappear
